My thoughts on ‘2012’

Buzzwords of today: Egypt, Libya and Japan.

These recent events have spurred talks about the infamous 2012 apocalypse. Well, I just wanted to share my thoughts on this:

Before we begin, I just wanted to let you know that I do NOT absolutely believe in the 2012 apocalypse, end of the world drama.

Today, I was watching a documentary referring to Nostradamus’ perception of ‘2012’. I find it interesting that the film raise a very interesting and valid point. We have a choice. We could drive ourselves to our own ‘extinction’ (through wars, poverty, hunger, thirst, famine, etc.) or we could wake up and realize that we need to change the way we treat our planet and treat other people around us.

Right now, Earth is furious. Climate change, natural disasters, even the economic collapse and political upheavals are attributed to this.

To me, 2012 is really an epiphany, a wake-up call if you will.  We learn that the way we are living is not the way to go to move forward. December 21, 2012 should mark the day when we start a new age. An age, when we begin and successfully eradicating the world’s problems and issues and hopefully, I’m right on this one.

Now, you might be asking me, “Why should I give a damn”. Well, you damn better care because if you do not do your part, we ARE going to drive ourselves to an apocalypse, doomsday, judgment days, “WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE”.

You’re shook now, I know it. And that’s good. There are things you can do to ensure the continuation of life, here are some examples – stay in school, educate yourself, learn about the issues, do not be an apathetic citizen, be empathetic and just act on good will and nature.

Keep yourself posted here and you can learn more simple things you could do to help.

Remember, there is glimmer of hope and do not shut yourself out from knowledge and wisdom. And it is important to act accordingly.
